Kate Homes grew up with a love for the kitchen and good eats, surprising no one by opening a food business! After graduating from Le Corden Bleu in Scottsdale and working in culinary tv production at the Food Network, Kate sought training from James Beard award- winning chefs. She got her first taste of fine-dining kitchens working for Bradford Thompson at Mary Elaine’s in Scottsdale; eventually leading her to join Lachlan MacKinnon Patterson’s team at Frasca Food and Wine in Boulder. During that time, Kate was also exploring the nuances of being a personal chef in private homes, finding that the connection formed by cooking in people’s homes was not only rewarding on a personal level, but an amazing challenge to provide her clients’ tables with a variety of healthy and delicious meals on a weekly basis. Kate Homes has since cultivated a team of talented chefs who consistently receive praise from happy clients whose lives have been simplified by the service we provide.
