Mixed Berry Cobbler





Summer is a time for all types of gatherings, large and small. Try making this berry cobbler for your next event! This is a simple treat that can be diversified with any of your favorite fruits.

Mix Berry Cobbler
Serves 4-6 people


  • 1.5 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2.5 tsp baking powder
  • 6 T butter – cold in cubes
  • 1.5 lb berries (red berries)
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 T cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup creme fraiche
  • 2 T heavy cream
  • 1 T raw cane sugar
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract


  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Combine dry ingredients, cut butter into the mix. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  3. In a separate medium bowl, toss berries with brown sugar and cornstarch. Pour into your favorite baking dish.
  4. Take flour mixture out of the fridge and stir in next ingredients (creme fraiche, vanilla and cream.)  Knead the dough 2 or 3 times (do not overwork the dough.) break into walnut size pieces and place on top of fruit.
  5. Place cobbler in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until fruit bubbles and topping is golden brown.
